“Everything Is Fine,” which is the first ever co-write Nicole has released with hit-making songwriter/producer Barry Eastmond (Anita Baker, All Jarreau, Will Downing, Aretha, Najee) serves as a heartfelt reminder to trust the journey. Since her debut release “The Nearness of You” in 2004 Henry has headlined shows and festivals across major cities including New York, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami. She has graced iconic venues such as Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, and The Smith Center. Her collaborations include performances and recordings with celebrated artists and ensembles such as Kirk Whalum, Julian Lage, John Clayton, Gerald Clayton, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, and Michael Feinstein.
Her latest release Time to Love Again, reached #4 on the U.S. JazzWeek radio chart, remained in the Top 40 for 20 weeks, and climbed to #6 on the UK Sweet Rhythms chart.
In addition to her music career, Henry has earned critical acclaim on the theatrical stage, starring in productions including The Bodyguard, The Color Purple, Smokey Joe’s Café, and A Wonderful World.
Raised in a musical family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Henry’s artistic journey began early through singing, cello, and ballet. After earning a degree in Communications and Theatre from the University of Miami, she initially pursued acting before dedicating herself fully to music. Beyond the stage, she remains deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting organizations such as the Miami Music Project, YoungArts, and the Miami Children’s Initiative. Her impact has been recognized with four official proclamations of “Nicole Henry Day” from the City of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County.
