Harold Dawson
“Dream Chaser”

Chicago-based Contemporary/Smooth Jazz saxophonist Harold Dawson is quickly emerging as a fresh voice in the genre, blending Jazz with elements of R&B, Soul, and Funk. Inspired by the legendary WNUA 95.5, his expressive sound is influenced by artists such as Boney James, Kenny G, Dave Koz, and Stevie Wonder. His debut radio single “Clockwork” reached the Smooth Jazz airplay charts, introducing audiences to his melodic style and marking an exciting milestone early in his recording career. Harold has also collaborated with Jackiem Joyner and Steve Oliver, among others.

Dawson’s new single “Dream Chaser” is the uplifting, dreamy centerpiece (and title track) of Harold’s debut album. Wrapped in expressive saxophone melodies and lush Smooth Jazz production that rival some of the greatest, the track creates an atmospheric space filled with hope, reflection, and quiet determination. Written as an anthem for anyone navigating their own journey, “Dream Chaser” serves as an inspiring reminder that our greatest obstacles often shape who we become, and that it’s never too late to chase what’s in your heart.
