AUGUST 6, 2026 (NEW YORK, NY) – Grammy-nominated Jamaican artist Ky-Mani “Maestro” Marley announces the official release date of August 28 for his long-awaited 8th studio album, Love & Energy. Ky-Mani also revealed the complete tracklist for his first album in 10 years, which includes the previously released “All This Love,” the Jamaican chart-topping single “New Creature,” as well as the title track, featuring Iba Mahr and Lutan Fyah. In addition to the aforementioned vocal talents, the son of musical icon Bob Marley has assembled a powerhouse ensemble of reggae lions, including Sizzla, Gyptian, Agent Sasco (Assassin), Anthony B, Bugle, and Andrew Tosh, to appear on the 16-track project, which is available to pre-save now on all digital platforms via Konfrontation Muzik Group/Dubshot Records.
Reflecting on the deeper significance of the moment, Ky-Mani offered, “Love & Energy isn’t just an album title. It’s a way of life. Everything in this world is driven by energy, and love is the highest vibration we can give and receive.”
Ky-Mani recently completed the European leg of his Love & Energy Tour, where he showcased songs from the new album, including the unreleased “A Little Bit (I’m Okay),” which delighted the audience during his set at the historic 40th staging of the Summerjam festival in Cologne, Germany. Ky-Mani’s next tour stop is Toronto on August 22 for a special performance at the Marley family’s signature Kaya Fest, where he’ll join brothers Stephen, Julian, and Damian on a star-studded bill that also includes Busta Rhymes, Shabba Ranks, and Lila Ike. ABOUT KY-MANI MARLEY:
Ky-Mani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Anita Belnavis, is a Grammy-nominated artist who burst onto the scene with his 1996 debut album “Like Father Like Son,” blending reggae with hip-hop. Born in Falmouth, Jamaica, he has a diverse discography including “Many More Roads” (2001), “Maestro” (2015), and a collaboration with Gentleman titled “Conversations” (2016), Beyond music, Ky-Mani has showcased his acting skills in films like “Shottas” (2002) and “One Love” (2003).
