“JAZZ BASSIST BLAIR “PRINCE” BRYANT AND R&B VOCALIST BETH RELEASE DUET COVER OF SADE’S “KISS OF LIFE”
DETROIT, — Blair “Prince” Bryant and BETH are proud to announce the release of their new duet, “KISS OF LIFE” which will be featured on Blair’s upcoming full-length project “Red Dragon”. “Red Dragon” is slated for release on April 15, 2022 on Innervision Records. “KISS OF LIFE” is a smooth jazz cover of the SADE classic that features the amazing talents of Blair “Prince” Bryant on bass. Blair is a musical prodigy playing 14 different musical instruments. Blair is the current musical director for Jazz legend NAJEE. Blair has been referred to as “the contemporary Stanley Clarke” by NAJEE. Blair was born in Kansas City, Missouri and spent his early years in Miami, Detroit, and Chicago with his parents in and out of churches hearing the best music possible, Blair has absorbed the full music tradition. Coupled with his love for jazz, Blair has demonstrated a musical ability well beyond his youth, with a specific level of skill, richness, and detail in recordings.
“KISS OF LIFE” also features the beautiful and lush vocals of recording artist and CEO of her own recording label Anise Records, BETH. A Detroit native BETH has Motown roots that run deep. BETH’s father is Johnny Griffith of the legendary Funk Brothers. BETH is well known from her time as a contestant and fan favorite on NBC’s “The Voice” where BETH was coached by Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. BETH was also a featured vocalist on ABC’s “Dancing with The Stars” on “Legends Night” performing songs by Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin. BETH has worked as a support vocalist for 8-time Grammy winner, Anita Baker for five years and over nine years with Motown recording artist, KEM. BETH is currently touring as part of “The Full Circle Tour” with Tour Headliner, KEM, Babyface, and tour host Sherri Shepard. In addition, BETH is a solo artist releasing seven solo projects including her 2017 debut CD “Free”.
