October 2, 2020 – Detroit, MI – After receiving the stamp of approval from musical luminaries Anita Baker and Teddy Riley for his latest album, “The Love Factor,” the Quincy Jones-endorsed producer Brandon Williams returns to release his acoustic album, “Vulnerable.” The release takes a deeper look into hand-picked material from his critically acclaimed albums, “The Love Factor” and “XII.”
“Vulnerable” features stripped-down versions of fan favorites “Leave Love Be” and “In Love” which features second-generation music royalty Alex Isley and Brian McKnight Jr. The album gives Williams’s discography a whole new look. “Vulnerability is very important to me,” said Williams, a Detroit native. “I feel that when you strip away the layers in relationships, and in this case, music, perfection can be seen inside of the imperfections. With this album, I wanted to pull the covers back on some of my songs to showcase the immense beauty within them and allow the listener to hear these works in a refreshing and more open way. Artists often try to make perfect works vocally and musically, but here, I wanted to showcase some of the ‘noise’ because I feel that it is a part of the human experience.”
