Bobby Hustle & Costa Rebel Release “Heaven on Earth” — A Modern Roots Reggae Journey

American reggae singer and songwriter Bobby Hustle reunites with longtime collaborator Costa Rebel, Costa Rican producer and musician, for their new single, Heaven on Earth — a modern roots reggae track built around faith, perseverance, and the idea that heaven can be found in the way we choose to see life.

The collaboration goes back years, with previous releases including Rise Up Riddim (2017), Wolaba Vibes (2019), Too Far Gone (2020), and Party Mode (2022). More recently, the two joined forces with Mukkaround on Convict, released in December 2025.

When Bobby Hustle returned to Costa Rica, Costa Rebel played him several new riddims. Heaven on Earth immediately stood out. “I could tell this was the one that moved him the most,” says Costa Rebel.

The riddim itself carries a deeply personal meaning for Costa Rebel, inspired by the feeling of being together with his woman and son — a feeling he describes simply as heaven on earth.

Bobby wrote and recorded his vocals at Costa Rebel Studio in San José that same day, giving the song a message of faith and resilience. The production blends 80s digital reggae, roots, reggae revival and modern one-drop influences, combining classic reggae elements like bass, guitar and organ with futuristic synthesizers and contemporary production textures.

The result is a fast-moving, uplifting reggae track that looks toward the future without losing sight of its roots.
