Classically trained, she earned her undergraduate degree in music at the University of California, San Diego and completed master’s work in harp performance at the University of Arizona.
She has performed alongside legends such as KEM and Smokey Robinson, and graced iconic stages including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl, global jazz festivals, and so many more.
She has also had the honor of performing for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
With three acclaimed studio albums released and her fourth project arriving in 2026, Mariea continues to inspire audiences worldwide with her blend of jazz, R&B, soul, and contemporary sounds.
