Halle Bailey from the sister vocal duo Chloe x Halle releases her debut, “Angel”

Since being mentored by international superstar, Beyonce, the R&B vocal duo of Chloe x Halle have blazed the charts earning several Grammy nominations. Awhile back, Chloe stepped out for her solo spotlight as a multi- hit-making artist in the past three years. Eventually in 2023, Halle and her angelic soprano would establish her solo platform.

With several acting appearances under her belt, Halle finally stepped into a dreamlike starring role in the remake of Disney’s musical classic, The Little Mermaid. As a debut recording artist, her initial single, “Angel” (Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia) in its first week has already drawn over 6 million views on YouTube. Halle gracefully illustrates how to fight the battles of life’s unfair darts: “Somethin’ that just don’t sit right with you/But heaven knows, heaven knows/Your wings can’t weigh you down.” Balancing an intriguing mix of operatic heights and contemporary R&B savvy, “Angel” soars with Halle connection to an affirmative storyline, sealed her engaging voice.
