Group’s first release under its new licensing deal with eONE Music
Distribution, “As if we weren’t or aren’t excited enough to release
Charlie’s incredible single, the fact that Siri Music gets to do so with
our new distribution partner, eONE, is thrilling,” Siri Music Group
President Chauncy Jackson said. “I am ecstatic about working with the
eONE team including Jim Cuomo and Angela Howard.”
The deal with eONE allows Siri Music Group the opportunity to expand
its reach and showcase upcoming releases from Charlie Vox, Okera,

Charlie Vox’s debut single, “Lie Instead,” is far from the first time
that she’s had mainstream success. She has written hits like “Final
Goodbye” for Rihanna and “Monday Morning” for Melanie Fiona which peaked
on the Swiss Singles Chart at #1 and become successful in Poland,
Austria, Hungary, cracking the adult Top 40 here in the states. “Lie
Instead,” was co-written by Jackson/Croft (Jessica Simpson, Tamia,
Deborah Cox) and Curtis Richardson (Jennifer Lopez, Craig David) to be
featured on her debut album, Things I Never Said, to be released fourth
quarter. Vox has already recorded new music with upcoming producers
Darien Dorsey, T- Minus (Nicki Minaj, Drake), The Chemistri (Deborah
Cox) and veterans JR Rotem (Britney Spears, Whitney Houston) and Troy
Taylor (Trey Songz). “Charlie Vox is a hitmaker and that, along with her
amazing voice and remarkable drive are some of the reasons that Siri is
so excited to have her on the label,” Jackson said.
“Lie Instead,” will be ushered in by a worldwide online premiere on
Singersroom.com on Tuesday, August 30, 2011. The 2010 Soul Train award
winner for “Best Soul Site”, Singersroom is an online lifestyle magazine
for R&B and urban-pop culture; visited by more than 2.9 million
consumers monthly. “Lie Instead,” will be released digitally everywhere
on September 13th including iTunes.
