The Voices of Glory | Self-Titled (Avail Now)
“Season 4 of America’s Got Talent set the stage for the Voices of
Glory to distinguish themselves with unique harmonies, shining
personalities and wholesomeness that was noted by millions. Such grace
now wonderfully evident on their impeccable debut.”
The Voices of Glory are a Gospel/Inspirational trio that consists of
three siblings Nadia, 10, Avery 14, and Michael, 18, whose voices,
ironically, were inspired by love and pain.
A tragedy transcended to a miracle when their mother Felicia Cole was
left in a coma for 8 months. In 2007 when on her way home from class to
achieve a fourth advanced degree, she was hit head on and severely
injured by a drunk driver. In response to the devastating news, the
children decided they would sing at their mother’s bedside with the
hopes that she would recognize their voices. Her continued recovery is
what prompted VOG to venture out and sing at other nursing home and
hospital patients, as well as, for church congregations.
Since that time, their seemingly small actions have generated constant
encouragement to continue which has paid off in a huge way.
Season 4 of NBC’s hit TV show America’s Got Talent set the stage for VOG
to further distinguish themselves with their unique harmonies, shining
personalities and wholesomeness that was noted by all three judges, the
host and the millions of voters that helped them secure a coveted spot
in the Top 5.
And now the world rejoices in their angelic tones as highlighted on their self-titled debut.
Project highlights include the reverent first single “Holy, Holy, Holy,”
along with “Your Voice,” “You Untie My Wings,” and others. Smartly,
the disc also includes those songs that set them apart on AGT’s stage
including the Whitney Houston’s classic “The Greatest Love of All,” and
every patriot’s favorite “God Bless America.” Those in the know will
appreciate their reinvention of the ever inspiring Elton John
composition, “Believe.”
