When young R&B Boy group Troop (Steve, Allen, Rodney, John & Reggie) arrived to the R&B block, all the way from Pasadena, Cali. back in 1988, these guys came with a sound, a look and some hit singles and albums. One of those classics, “All I Do Is Think Of You” has to be a hand-picked mixtape slow jam choice within seconds of being heard.

This crooner has every right to be in the Top 100. His voice is staggering, tender and romantic. As much for the great slow jams his group, After 7, has entertained the hearts of millions of fans throughout the world, came the arrival of lead singer Kevon Edmonds. Who cannot forget those memorable classics? We won’t…as you can see by now.

Positive in terms of 2 people falling in love, expressing their joys, heartaches. All dealing with the aspect of love. Some expressing faithfulness. Some dealing with infidelity.

When Glenn joined Jive Records back in 1987 and released his album under the same name, his breakout classic ballad, “We’ve Only Just Begun” flew right up the Billboard charts! As passionate was the song is as passionate Glenn often displayed his powerhouse voice on all of his music. Here’s a toast to one of the great romantic singles to ever grace R&B music.
