Newcomer Brandon Jarod Presents New EP- – “The Crush”
Brandon
Jarod was born to working class parents and sister on March 16, 1986 in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A quiet, yet inquisitive child, Brandon often
entertained himself with comic books, drawing and writing imaginative
short stories. Though he did not come from a musical family, Brandon’s
father was an avid listener of the band Parliament Funkadelic, which
would become the first music that Brandon remembers hearing. Seeing him
constantly play air guitar on a baseball bat. Brandon’s mother built
his first guitar from a cereal box, a napkin roll and rubber bands.
Unable to mimic the music he heard from the radio, Brandon soon began to

On Monday, February 14th, Indie R&B/Pop/Soul sensation LaDeana Michelle will release her fifth, exclusive, digital-only EP entitled, “Glaze”, further increasing her significant fan base worldwide.
“Glaze” is a part of LaDeana Michelle’s rapidly-growing “Love Quarter” campaign (January 1st-March 31st) set to run every first quarter for the next nine years. The campaign, which encompasses her notable slogan, “Changing Lives One Day at a Time”, promotes love, social awareness, unity and change through music and visual arts. The release boasts three tracks written, produced and composed by the multi-faceted artist, entitled “Deejay”, “How Did I Get Here?” and “Who”—all of which were praised by early listeners and critics as reminiscent of the timeless slow jams Soul crooners R. Music, dance and art have
always been a part of Remi’s life. “For a time I wanted to be a
painter,” Remi recalls, “but music won out with dance as a close second.
My grandfather was a great inspiration to me – he was a Vaudeville
entertainer and my biggest fan!” While attending California Institute
of the Arts, Remi found both passions supported by the World Music
Program, where she studied African and Indonesian dance and music. With
her diverse heritage of Cherokee, Norwegian and Spanish, Remi found
unity in the diversity, which directly influenced her own music.
Remi signed her first publishing deal with Macy Lipman’s publishing company
Le
Grande Fromage. Soon after, she landed her first road gig as
keyboardist/vocalist/dancer with Babyface prodigy Karyn White and went
on to sign her own recording contract with an all female band produced
by Morris Day on Warner Bros./Reprise. “This is when it all started
happening for me” Remi recalls. “Ironically, I moved from Minneapolis to
LA and ended up working with artists and producers that I had always
admired from my hometown! ” Remi went on to tour with Motown recording
artist Teena Marie and as a keyboardist and duet partner with David
Cassidy and Grammy Award winner Christopher Cross. Her studio
collaborations have included Giorgio Moroder, Howard Hewett and Rachel
Rachel. You may recognize her from appearances on Felicity, Seven Days,
Freaky Links, Melrose Place and as the on-camera keyboardist/musical
