R&B Singer Johnny Burgos Releases New Track “Good Night Moon” | LISTEN!

Fresh from sweeping everyone off their feet with the disco desires of ‘Can’t Wait’, Brooklyn singer-songwriter Johnny Burgos sees out 2026 with the vintage soft-stepping soul of ‘Good Night Moon’

Back into the rhythm of last year’s applauded ‘A Long Short Story’ LP, Johnny pays homage to his hometown over the jazziest of street orchestras tuned into the falling of autumn leaves, where the eagle-eared may recognise the track’s origins found in Skipp Whitman’s ’10 PM’

Good Night Moon began as a hip-hop song titled “10 pm,” part of Skipp Whitman’s 2025 album Monday, featuring Johnny Burgos on the hook and produced in its entirety by Brooklyn-based producer Tane. The song immediately gained traction on socials, and fans demanded more of Burgos’ singing on the song, which prompted an extended version with more of his hook on it, but they weren’t satisfied. The people spoke and they wanted an RnB only version, which took a lot of convincing but eventually Skipp gave it the green light and Johnny penned an infectious and anthemic ode to his hometown of Brooklyn, NY. The song highlights Burgos’ love for his city and gratitude for the infinite well of culture, inspiration and resilience NYC can be. Set over an instrumental that’s half 90’s hip hop and half Earth, Wind & Fire, it still embodies Johnny’s signature modern-meets-nostalgic sound and effortless timelessness. A song sure to be on repeat.
