“Factor Of One”
The latest single from The Allen Carman Project titled “Factor Of One” is from the band’s upcoming album scheduled for release in early 2027. This single, written and produced by Allen Carman and Gumbi Ortiz, is a mix of soulful R&B and sensual Smooth Jazz with an irresistible groove. It showcases the artistry of exceptional musicians who know how to create something truly special.
The album of the same name (FACTOR OF ONE) is a fresh, exciting addition to the world of contemporary smooth jazz which features several great and well-known musicians including Kenny Anderson (Saxophone), Ron Reinhardt (Keyboards), Gumbi Ortiz (Percussion), Luis Alicea (Drums), and Allen Carman (Bass). The upcoming album, built around an infectious groove, captivating melodies and outstanding musicianship, will be the band’s third smooth jazz album with the first two (CARMANOLOGY and I’VE ARRIVED) primarily written and produced by Phillipe Saisse and Gumbi Ortiz which featured many outstanding musicians including Andy Snitzer, Rick Braun, Marc Antoine and Nile Rogers.
“Factor Of One'” is a preview of what’s to come with our new album, and we hope our listeners appreciate this exciting combination of musical sophistication and pure listening enjoyment.” – Allen Carman
