Boney James Releases New Single “I Belong to You” feat. Ledisi | WATCH NEW VIDEO! New Album “A Simple Man” Arrives October 2nd, 2026

Boney James & Ledisi reunite after 16 years for the slow grooving track, “I Belong to You”

Saxophonist Boney James graced the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts with 20 – #1 singles with his R&B flair. Ledisi is a multi-Grammy nominated (including 1 win) singer/songwriter expanding the boundaries of contemporary Adult R&B. In 2010, the aforementioned duo came together honoring Luther Vandross with the funky smooth, “My Sensitivity.”

While the wait between that collaboration and their next joint effort was a mighty long time, their electrifying talents have finally reconnected in 2026 with their songwriting skills – this time slowing the mood down on the Boney-produced “I Belong to You” (Concord Jazz). Fans will be patiently anticipating this event, no matter what the tempo, as Boney and Ledisi’s artistic presence are always breaking down all the wow elements.

Look out for “I Belong to You” starting Friday, August 7th on most digital platforms. His new album “A Simple Man” arrives Oct. 2nd, 2026.
