Brittany developed a love for playing instruments as a clarinet player 1st, around the age 10. During the 90s when smooth jazz was explosive, Brittany was sonically introduced to the industries finest contemporary jazz artist on Cleveland’s 107.3 the Wave radio station. Her love at first sound was from artist such as Dave Koz, Candy Dulfer, Kirk Whalum, Kenny G and Gerald Albright.
In high school, she began playing the saxophone and became obsessed with a tenor saxophone that she rented from the school. Years later, she pursued a degree in Music and graduated from Cleveland State University.
Aside from performing on the saxophone, Brittany Atterberry cultivated a fulfilling internship at Metro Health Hospital, presenting music therapy to patients in need. Her dynamic skillset as a Music Therapist and exhilarating Saxophonist, allowed her to share her passion for music in multiple facets. While there, she traveled the floors of Intensive Care Unit, helping sick patients using evidence based research. Brittany used the piano and guitar, to help patients/clients rehabilitate.
Currently, Brittany is focused on creating music that reaches her fans. She has an excellent personality and thrives off being an influence to women, to follow their dreams and goals.
Her latest creation “Cocoa Chocolate” goes for radio adds on the first of June.
