R&B Singer Stokley Releases New Single “Need Love” | LISTEN!

Stokley states that we all “Need Love” for his latest single release

As an artist that bleeds romance in every direction, Stokley remains an R&B phenomenon whose profound stories grasps the attention of those who first followed his journey taking the lead microphone for Minneapolis vocal group legends, Mint Condition. Throughout his solo chapter featuring two CD’s including Sankofa – joined by Minneapolis legends Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, two-time Grammy nominee Stokley paints invigorating canvases detailing the thrills surrounding his lady loves – i.e. “Rare (no, no, no),” “She.”

On the opening line for his latest track, “Need Love,” (BluRaffe Ent), Stokley immediately ponders where the state of relationships are headed: “It seems like ain’t nobody loving no more.” Running off the song’s blueprint, Stokley candidly preaches about all it takes in making love tick with plenty of sensuality and articulate energy. The delicate soundtrack produced by Arion.Brasil leans on an acoustic backdrop, showering harp waterfalls alongside acoustic guitar, shakers and a trio of background vocalists including Ashley Commodore and Lyndora Turner.
