R&B Singer Glenn Lewis Releases New Track “Past Tense” | WATCH NEW VIDEO!

Veteran urban singer/songwriter Glenn Lewis senses a Past Tense relationship for his brand new single

Artists who call Canada their home have crossed over to the U.S. with qualified success such as R&B stylists like Deborah Cox and Tamia. Another who has tasted some success in the U.S. is Glenn Lewis, who was heavily encouraged by his musician parents – possessing a warm soulful voice praised by Stevie Wonder. His debut U.S. full-length in 2002, World Outside My Window produced a Top 5 placement on the Billboard charts that featured “Don’t You Forget It.” Two years later, Lewis earned his first Grammy nomination with jazz icon Stanley Clarke on “Where is The Love” (with Amel Larrieux).

In 2026, Lewis returns providing his trademark warm R&B vibe on his latest single, “Past Tense” (Reimagery, Inc.), a story surrounding a lover genuinely looking out for someone who has been jilted:

“It’s perfect timing/Like seeing you smiling/’Stead of being upset/Should’ve bet you forget.”

Producer Seige Monstracity (Keyshia Cole, David Banner) properly frames “Past Tense” with simple intense grooves.

“Past Tense” is currently available on most digital outlets.
