Expansion Records Releases New 3-Disc Compilation “Luxury Soul 2026” | LISTEN!
The 40th Anniversary of U.K. Soul Music Label extraordinaire Expansion Records launches with their Luxury Soul 2026 Compilation
Since Expansion Records opened their doors four decades ago, their excellence in gathering U.S. & U.K. soul treasures remains the centerpiece from the U.K. based label. At the core of their catalog is the Luxury Soul compilation series embracing classic and modern soul in different shapes from disco to jazz with a remix or two and unreleased tracks, representing established artists and artists on the move. To celebrate Expansion’s 40th Anniversary achievement, the latest edition entitled Luxury Soul 2026, three discs await the passionate soul music collector.
For a few examples from the veterans, Chantay Savage pours it on for “Still.” “A Whole Lotta Yum Yum” is an exclusive track from Evelyn Champagne King, remixed by groove master Georgie B. And the smooth R&B duo Kloud 9 contributes “Here With Me” (2026 version).
Luxury Soul 2026 also spotlights newer but soulfully stirring talents such as Windy Karigianes’ “Falling For You” (another Georgie B remix). One of several ballads includes “Seasons” teaming jazz musician Samuel Williams and vocalist Patricia Shirley. Another artist to check out is Honoré with “Innocent & Real.”
Luxury Soul 2026 becomes available on digital platforms in mid-January.
