Guitarist, Norman Brown, Grammy Nominated, ‘Indy Soul King’, Eric Roberson, Guitarist, Paul Jackson, Jr., and Saxophonist, Marion Meadows have all laid their get-down on this project giving ‘Mo Jazzin an extra-special fusion of sophisticated Soul, Jazz, and R&B. The title track ‘MO JAZZIN’, Johnny and Norman Brown pay homage to their Motown/MoJazz Records days where they were labelmates. ‘KEEP WORKING IT OUT’ featuring Eric Roberson, a mid-tempo sing-along is a song that celebrates Johnny’s 34-year wedding anniversary (Aug 16) to his wife Arlene. Part of Britt’s premise for recording ‘MO JAZZIN’ was to capture significant moments in his music career, from his former group Impromp2 to his personal life, as well as to record with some of the baddest and most respected musicians of our time on this album.
