Kanisha K Finds Love Just In Time For Christmas and Soars to #10 On The FMQB

NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Kanisha K Finds Love Just in Time for Christmas And Soars to the Top-Ten on the FMQB AC Top – 40 Chart.
Kanisha K’s single, “I Found Love (Just In Time For Christmas)” soars to the #10 position this week on FMQB’s AC Top 40 chart. The chart is a mix of formats including: Mainstream, Soft AC, Hot A/C and Adult CHR. The Holland, Michigan artist joins Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Fun, Lorde, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons and Emeli Sande in the Top-Ten.
“This song expresses a message of hope, joy and love for the holidays for everyone,” states the 21 year-old Holland, Michigan native. “I had the privilege to work with some of the greatest singers and musicians in the business at one of the most fantastic studios on the planet,” states Kanisha K, “what more could anyone ask for? The fact that the song is being played across America and reached #10 on the FMQB chart is astonishing to me,” concludes the reserved emerging singer.
“I Found Love (Just in Time for Christmas)” is on the Daddy Rocks, LLC label and was produced by Jim Della Croce. “David Lasley sang this song to me over the phone ‘once’ many years ago and I never forgot the hook and title,” begins Della Croce. “And when I mentioned it to Kanisha she was all over the idea. Fortunately David was able to locate the demo and we wasted no time in scheduling tracking dates in Los Angeles, so we could record immediately with session greats: David Lasley, Kate Markowitz, Arnold McCuller, Mark Goldenberg and Bob Glaub (all renowned singers and musicians for James Taylor, Earth Wind and Fire, Luther Vandross, Jackson Browne and Linda Ronstadt). It was not lost on all of us that we were cutting the track in the same room (Capitol Recording Studios Studio A) where Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys and Paul McCartney recorded,” he concludes.
