Coming to a music online store near you is the new project from up and coming flautist Kim Scott entitled, “Rite of Passage” on May 18th, 2013. The contemporary/urban jazz musician had startled the jazz industry with her debut deal, “Crossing Over”, released back in 2011. The new album, produced by Grammy nominee Kelvin Wooten, keeps the groove in check and showcases Ms. Scott’s amazing talent on the flute. The lead single from the CD, a Jill Scott cover, “Golden” is available now and is steadily climbing jazz charts around the globe.
