New York City, NY – 2013 – Pendullum Records R&B Soul Artist Shaliek will share in the celebration of Black Music Month with a live performance on SIRIUS XM Heart & Soul’s Soul Intro Broadcast. Throughout the month of June SIRIUS XM will gather an elite line up of recording artists such as Charlie Wilson, Fantasia and Shaliek for in studio performances. Shaliek a native of Bronx, NY who spent much of his childhood in South Carolina will secure his musical place in history when he performs his new single “The Past”.
The 25 minute interview and performance segment on Heart and Soul XM will air on June 29th at 12 Noon and again on June 30th at 6:00PM. Shaliek’s performance will spotlight his single “The Past” which is fast approaching Top 30 on Nielsen Urban AC Chart. The song is a reflection of the merry-go-round of good love, broken dreams along with the heart ship of loving and not forgetting. Shaliek will rock out the SIRIUS XM Stage with a six piece band and debut selected songs from his forthcoming CD: Blood Sweat Tears. Shaliek invites you to join him as he blazes the Sirius XM airwaves and delights his fans with this long awaited national performance.
Shaliek is the return of R&B Soul music. His vocal ability surges with energy and heartfelt emotion which allows the listener to feel the mere content and effects of his incredible lyrics. His capacity to interpret a song is reminiscent of Black music icons such as Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. Shaliek’s SIRIUS XM performance will bring real music, real lyrics and voice to Black Music Month.

slated to be released in August 2013.
