DONNIE McCLURKIN MARKS THE CLOSE OF HIS RECORDING CAREER WITH FINALLY,
AVAILABLE TODAY ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS
Legendary gospel singer closes his recording chapter while continuing live performances, special appearances, with expansion to his nationally syndicated radio show
LOS ANGELES, CA — Gospel music singer and songwriter Donnie McClurkin’s long-anticipated album, FINALLY (Camdon Music), is officially available today, Friday, October 16, 2026, with distribution by Tennessee-based Syntax Creative. His last recorded album marks a significant milestone for an artist whose voice and message have inspired generations of gospel listeners.
For FINALLY, McClurkin reunites with producers Trent Phillips and Tre’ Corley, with co-production by McClurkin and Jerard Woods. The collaboration brings trusted creative partners together for a project that celebrates his musical legacy and the faith at the center of his ministry.
The album arrives with momentum from McClurkin’s current single, “Lord, I Thank You.” Written by McClurkin and produced by longtime collaborator Trent Phillips, the song is receiving heavy rotation at gospel radio and steadily climbing the charts. Its message of gratitude offers listeners a timely reminder of God’s faithfulness through every season.
“Lord, I Thank You” builds on the success of FINALLY’s lead single, “Better Afterwhile,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart. Produced by Tre’ Corley, “Better Afterwhile” adds to a successful partnership that also yielded McClurkin’s chart-topping hit, “I Need You.” Together, FINALLY’s singles set the stage for an album filled with encouragement, conviction and heartfelt worship audiences have embraced throughout McClurkin’s career.
“FINALLY, is my way of saying thank you to God for the gift of music and to everyone who has embraced these songs and supported me through the years,” says McClurkin. “As I close this chapter of recording, my prayer is that this album strengthens your faith and gives you another reason to worship. There is still more ministry ahead, and I look forward to continuing that journey with you.”
The album also highlights special guest appearances by gospel legend Tramaine Hawkins featured on “Lord, You’re All I Need” and acclaimed Christian music artist Michael W. Smith performing his classic “Place In This World” with McClurkin, adding to the significance of this milestone recording.
McClurkin will continue hosting The Donnie McClurkin Show, his popular nationally syndicated radio program. After more than 20 years on air, the show reaches more than five million listeners weekly across 80 markets, extending its impact through music, inspiration and conversation.
FINALLY represents both a farewell to recording and a celebration of a lasting gospel legacy. As McClurkin prepares for this next chapter, the album gives listeners another opportunity to embrace the music and ministry that have made his voice a cherished presence in gospel.
