FELICIA TEMPLE RELEASES CINEMATIC NEW EP A SOFT PLACE TO LAND AND
BITTER-SWEET SINGLE “TWO SHIPS”
Produced by Obie III, the EP features original poems by New York Times bestselling author r.h. Sin and arrives ahead of Felicia’s Sofar Sounds performance in Williamsburg
(New York, NY – November 14, 2025) – Today, soulful R&B singer-songwriter Felicia Temple released her most cinematic body of work yet, A Soft Place to Land, now available on all streaming platforms.
Arriving alongside the EP is one of its highlight tracks, “Two Ships.” With its gentle percussion, warm bassline, and moody mid-tempo R&B groove that ebbs and flows, “Two Ships” captures the bittersweet rhythm of two lovers slowly drifting apart. There’s a reflective melancholy to the rhythm, with each beat landing like a heartbeat, calm yet weighted, allowing Felicia’s vocals to float over it with quiet power.
Produced and mixed by ObieIII, A Soft Place to Land draws sonic inspiration from Alex Isley, Ari Lennox, and Silk Sonic, reintroducing Felicia as a grounded, magnetic voice in contemporary R&B. Featuring original poems by New York Times bestselling author r.h. Sin, the project was written in the aftermath of her divorce and delves into themes of vulnerability, emotional clarity, and healing. Offering the kind of comfort that feels like the soundtrack to your favorite 2010s rom-com, A Soft Place to Land invites listeners to sit with their emotions, embrace solitude, and find peace through self-love.The project follows her previous EP, Welcome Home, an ode to her family roots in the dance world.
Fans will have the opportunity to experience Felicia’s new music live during an intimate Sofar Sounds performance in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday, November 15. Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets are $30 and available HERE.
