Rising singer-songwriter Nikki Nicole is set to release her highly anticipated new single, “Confidential,” on August 1, 2025. An introspective slow-burn layered with silky vocals and sharp songwriting, “Confidential” reflects on the value of privacy in an age where everything — especially love — is often performed for an audience.
“When you’re pursuing a career as an artist, there’s this unspoken pressure to make every detail of your life public,” says Nikki. “But I’ve learned how sacred it is to keep certain moments just for yourself. That’s what this song is about — the desire to explore something new with someone and keep it between you while you figure out what it really means.”
The track was produced by Tone & Jonk for SLMM Productions and the vocals were produced and recorded by Keith Alexander & Nikki Nicole for Groove Team Entertainment. “Confidential” was mixed at GTE Studios and mastered at Sterling Sound by Grammy-winning engineer Chris Gehringer (Dua Lipa, Jennie, Doechii, Renee Rapp).
Though rooted in real emotion, the song’s spark came in a moment of pure serendipity.
