The Mississippi Mass Choir Releases New Album “We Still Believe” | WATCH NEW VIDEO!

The Mississippi Mass Choir marks 35 years of service to God, all with Malaco Records, on We Still Believe

Back in 1987, Frank Williams from the Jackson Southernaires sang lead with the Florida Mass Choir on their Let the Holy Ghost Lead You project. Afterwards, he approached Malaco Records in gathering the best urban gospel voices to represent the state of Mississippi. Since that transformation a year later, The Mississippi Mass Choir was birthed.

Into 2024, The Mississippi Music Museum Hall of Fame inductees are primed to celebrate their 35th Anniversary and their 11th album, We Still Believe (Malaco Records). The good news – their worldwide ministry purpose remains intact, encouraging and edifying the body of Christ. On this 16-track recording from Word of Life Church in Flowood, MS, The Mississippi Mass Choir invited several solid soloists.

Highlights include:

Georgia Mass Choir founder Rev. Milton Biggham speaks of “Greater is He that is in you” from 1 John 4:4 on “You’re Going to Make It”

“The Promise,” one of several singles released on We Still Believe, features Myron Butler and the song’s co-composer Stan Jones.

One of Gospel’s Quartet Music’s ambassadors, Paul Porter, takes the lead for “Only One Way Home”.

Sunday Best alumni Crystal Aiken emphatically displays her convictions for “When Jesus Says Yes.”

Gospel and soul vocalist Brian Courtney Wilson adds his testimony on the title track, “We Still Believe.”

“Work It For Your Good” turns God’s promises into something good.

“I’m Walking” provides a spiritual boost of who to trust and who to walk with.

We Still Believe from The Mississippi Mass Choir is currently available on most digital platforms.
