Groove Theory – Tell Me (The Packxsz Bump Mix) by Dutch Producer The Packxsz

Summertime is almost here and Dutch Producer The Packxsz felt like it was a good time to release a 90’s R&B inspired remix. Last summer, he gave Whitney Houston’s song “Fine” his remix treatment and this time he chose to remix Groove Theory’s 1995 R&B Classic “Tell Me.”

The Packxsz: “Tell Me” was always one of those special records to me. It was different from the other records that were out at the time. It’s a pretty smooth record. When I started remixing, I felt like it could use some more edge. I’ve always been a huge 90’s Hip-Hop and R&B fanatic, and wanted to keep that “raw” vibe alive. Like my remix was done in the year 1994 or 1995”.

The Packxsz is known for his official remix work for artists like Mya, Glenn Lewis, Joyce Sims (R.I.P.). Most recently he remixed Raja Nee‟s UK Soul Chart number one song “Come Get this Love”. The Packxsz is currently working on a new EP (TBA).
