Soul Songstress Sy Smith to Release New Album “Until We Meet Again”

Coming to the airwaves in January 2024 comes the return of soul music siren Sy Smith and her well anticipated new feature “Until We Meet Again.” One of the singles from the new album, lead track “Slide” is already generating major traction as we head into the new year. “Slide” doesn’t sound like anything she’s ever released. This steamy uptempo begins with flamenco-like handclaps, then proceeds to glide elegantly like a Rolls Royce, with Sy’s voice riding the chordal curves like Diana Ross meeting Marvin Gaye at some afterparty in heaven. Then the percussive pre-chorus instantly changes lanes as Sy sings “start the clock, I can’t wait anymore…it’s unlocked, I’m standing by the door. You can watch me work, head to the floor…”.
