Maurice Griffin stepped into Gospel music by singing with the Gospel group New Direction under the direction of Percy and Jeral Gray in Chicago, IL and leading worship at the Gospel Music Workshop of America National Conventions. With confidence and determination, Griffin began a journey to expand a new phase of his music career after capturing the attention of a nation as a finalist on season 2 of BET’s Sunday Best Gospel competition television show.
