R&B Singer Desmond Parson Releases New Single “Therapy”

Desmond Parson, is an independent R&B/Neo Soul artist from Washington DC. His new single, “Therapy” (featuring Davonne D’Neil), was released on November 13th to all platforms. The song is an ode to music; the vibe we get from both listening to it as well as writing our thoughts and feelings to it. “I composed and recorded the music for the song based on the groove I heard as I sat at my Rhodes electric piano. I created the rest of the instrumentation as the music dictated.”

“With the musical track completed, I wrote my verse based on how music makes me feel; making it therapeutic’ by just listening to my favorite songs.” Davonne, who is also an independent artist in the Washington DC area, listened to the track and wrote her verse from her point of view as a writer and how writing her thoughts out to music makes her feel better.
