The Whispers Releases New Single “How Long”

R&B/Soul legends The Whispers return after a long studio absence with the encouraging yet thought provoking, “How Long”

In extraordinary body of work going back to the late sixties, The Whispers have consistently reached the Billboard R&B charts for singles and albums. One of the most decorated vocal groups who were inducted into the R&B Hall of Fame and who won the Pioneer Award from the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, The Whispers scored their biggest hits in the eighties for SOLAR Records that include funk dance jams such as “And The Beat Goes On” and “Rock Steady.”

With original members Wallace ‘Scotty’ Scott and Walter Scott alongside longtime member Leavell Degree carrying The Whispers’ torch, their latest studio offering in quite some time presents a special brand of love song for everyone in “How Long.” Produced by Whispers’ touring band member Magic Mendez, the self-released single features the groups’ trademark smooth voices, while incorporating many concerns towards humanity and the hope for a master plan during excruciating times. We welcome back these R&B/soul veterans who remain in touch with their roots while staying relevant to today’s musical landscape.
