Paul Hardcastle Releases New Album “Hardcastle 9”

Paul Hardcastle extends his extensive musical library one more time with Nine – IX

From techno dance classics Rain Forest and 19 to the collection of synth-driven smooth jazz and soul under The Jazzmasters and his own name, Paul Hardcastle continues winning over fans in an astounding four decades. This near one-man show can drop chill one moment to catchy grooves the next without losing his mastery of thickly layered arrangements.

Moving to the latest in the Paul Hardcastle series entitled Hardcastle Nine – IX, the usual supporting cast for this Trippin’ N’ Rhythm release includes daughter Maxine Hardcastle and saxophonist Rock Hendricks. Within the thirteen selections, there are some recommended cuts. Chill lives through “Tropicool” (Flugelhorn – Gary Winter) and the first single, “Latitude.” “Innocent” and “Let it Go” shows Hardcastle does not forget the funk. Tasty percussive swirl lights up the dance floor for “Falling” and “Lovin’ You Lovin’ Me” delivers a soulful pop vibe. Another enjoyable work in Nine as only Paul Hardcastle could envision it.
