MeMe Yahsal was born and raised in the small town of Blackville, SC where she started singing in the church choir at the young age. She grew up in a multi-talented, musical environment with her parents and siblings singing soul, blues and gospel. Soon after she took the reins and became the leader of the family group and began performing at musical events/concerts throughout the southeast. After a hiatus, she recruited her brothers to assist with her ambitions to enter the environment of music called Southern Soul.

Her style of song writing embodies the feel of gospel and soul and the production of tracks provided by her brothers keep you moving. After she reached out to the Production/Management team of Shack Man and Boi Wonder. Lead by Nelson Curry aka Sugaa Shack Man and Chazz {da Boi Wonder} Tennison things really started to move. Together MeMe and this production team has put together something new and refreshing with her own style that is guaranteed to breathe new life into Southern Soul. Her first single, “Eye Candy”, is already making noise, and she is just getting started!
