Tina Campbell Releases New Single “Too Hard Not To”

In the midst of shooting the reality show centering on Mary Mary, one half of the most decorated gospel duos, Tina Campbell, released her debut project in 2015, It’s Personal, that literally mirrored what trials she was enduring with her family and faith. This extremely personal testimony, to say the least, resonated quite well in the gospel community with Stellar and NAACP Awards.

Now primed for her follow-up, “It’s Still Personal”- available for pre-order August 18th, Campbell reworks several tracks from her debut while introducing new material, one in particular being the quiet yet potent, “Too Hard Not To,” a barebones arrangement with just voice and piano. This always needed remedy illustrates how forgiveness requires a humble attitude: “Some say it’s too hard to forgive/I say it’s too hard not to.” Produced by her management company, Gee Tree Creative, It’s Still Personal also encompasses Southern Gospel and Hip-Hop (respectfully “Evidence” and “We Livin’).
