LISTEN TO NEW MUSIC: V. Bozeman feat. Tyrese | “You Can’t Break Me”
Empire Cast Member V. Bozeman rips the microphone, dropping an empowering message for women, “You Can’t Break Me,” paired with one of R&B’s ballad masters Tyrese
When she’s not sharing screen time on the popular FOX TV hip-hop drama, Empire, V. Bozeman is far from shy in making her vocal presence known. What should be one of R&B’s best pairings only one month removed in 2016, Bozeman and Tyrese seize their fierce battle of love on “You Can’t Break Me.” This pulsating, extremely edgy ballad, which strongly shouts those intense R&B vignettes from R. Kelly, focuses primarily on Bozeman who stakes her claim that she can be “bad by herself.”
The multi-talented Bozeman delivers a full package deal with her songwriting, producing, and of course, her electrifying performances such as Timothy Bloom’s “Til The End of Time” and “What is Love” from the Empire Soundtrack – both that reached the top 25 on the Billboard Adult R&B and R&B charts respectively. Meanwhile, since Bozeman’s solo debut, Music is My Boyfriend, is on the backburner, check out “You Can’t Break Me” on Soundcloud.
