Jonathan Butler Releases New Album “Free”

Jonathan Butler offers a special word of encouragement in a warm but powerful performance of his latest single, “Be Encouraged” from his Mack Avenue Records CD, Free – LISTEN BELOW!

More than just an international ambassador for Christ, Jonathan Butler has a passion for sharing music with a multi-faceted mix of jazz, R&B and world music. The singer/guitarist/songwriter continues to have a solid following in his homeland of South Africa since the days he recorded a series of gold records while still a teenager. During the eighties, the rest of the world would discover Butler who scored an R&B hit with “Lies,” participated in the Gospel Goes Classical project in 2006 and is still going strong on Free, his 21st solo release via Mack Avenue Records (Oct. 30th, 2015), that draws from his South African roots and his love of the Lord.
