On Sunday May 17th Gico Music Recording Artist Gina Carey wins the “Best Contemporary Band/ Artist” award

PRLog – May 18, 2015 – PALM DESERT, Calif. — On March 25th, soul singer, Gina Carey learned of her 2 CV Music award nominations, one for “Best Jazz Band/Artist” and the other for “Best Adult Contemporary Band/Artist. On Sunday, May 17th, Soul Singer, Gina Carey, won the CV Music Award for “Best Contemporary Band/ Artist”.

The CV Music awards was held at the luxurious Riviera Hotel Grand Ballroom, located in Palm Springs California.

The CV Music awards were created by CV Weekly owners Phil Lacombe & Tracy Dietlin in order to honor and bring recognition to various genres of local independent bands, artist, club promoters and DJ’s within the Coachella Valley.

The CV Music Awards nominees were determined by a panel of over 200 people consisting of radio & TV personalities, music writers/journalists, music photographers, club & venue owners, promoters, fans and musicians themselves. The musicians on the nominating panel were not permitted to nominate in any of their own categories or for themselves.

Gina Carey was on the voting ballot with 6 other talented musicians in both categories. She won “Best Contemporary Band/ Artist” by the most calculated online votes.
