Joint Heirs Nominated For Three 2013 Gospel Blue Mic Awards
According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, soul is “music that arose out of the black experience in America through the transmutation of gospel and rhythm & blues into a form of funky testifying. For Nashville based Christian music duo JOINT HEIRS, their Gospel Soul style of music is just that. Their matchless soulful sound of gospel has been captured in this highly anticipated collection of classic funk, bangin’ hip hop beats, and musically innovative sounds of old-school soul uniquely set apart by the uncompromising message of the hope, love and encouragement of Jesus Christ.
THE SOLUTION is now available on all major digital music retail outlets. The single “More To Life” is the acoustic guitar driven contemporary Christian track with a guest appearance by Christian rap artist Andale’. The project also features the smooth steppers grove “Wait”, and “All My Needs” which exemplifies the heart of classic soul. A fan favorite and signature song for Joint Heirs is “Supernatural” taken from the definitive music of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Ben E. King (1975).
Joint Heirs have also been nominated for their first music award – The 2013 Gospel Blue Mic Awards. The duo are up for Video of The Year “Wait”, Urban Artist of the Year, and Group or Duo of the Year. The 2013 Gospel Blue Mic Awards will be presented on July 12 during the Indie Gospel Alliance Conference in Chesapeake, Va.
