Thane St. Andrew | Palace Of Love – feat new music video “Walls”

Soul Artist Thane St. Andrew Releases Debut Music Video and Re-Releases MP3s

Toronto’s rising indie soul music artist Thane St. Andrew recently released his first music video featuring Walls, the fourth track off his successful debut album “Palace of Love” released in late 2008 by Empire of Soul Records on CD Baby, Amazon, and iTunes.

The video (look below) captures the soul ballad’s poignant emotion against the urban backdrop of downtown Toronto and carried out by Thane’s signature vocal style, often described as warm, rich and earthy. The video was produced by Leonard Shen of UV Studio who commented that “It was a very exploratory project. We would go around the city and just try different things at different locations. Together I think we are able to create a video the song was calling for.”

Thane has also re-released 3tracks off the “Palace of Love” album, all digitally enhanced and re-mastered by Ari Gajraj of Listen Without Borders Studio. Title anthem, Palace of Love’s infectious rhythms have been given new energy along with crisper vocals, soul ballad Anybody Seen My Angel now features a stronger R&B groove and Bayou has been jazzed up with enhanced grooves and horn section capturing the spicy Creole essence of New Orleans with a loungey soul vibe.

Jazz and Soul Online hailed Palace of Love as “…an album well worth a listen”. Thane’s music has received accolades from Music Connection Magazine and he received Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards for Best Male R&B Vocalist and Best Website.

Thane’s music has shown early signs of success on the airwaves. His single Roller Coaster Love earned him the title of “Hot Artist to Look Out For” on Indie Mix Radio AM 1580 broadcast from Los Angeles, California and he was recently interviewed on Toronto’s CHRY 105.5FM.
