Gavin Turek recently released her new track “Illusions” with its accompanying video last month. The track is a smooth modern R&B masterpiece that details the kind of love you can’t escape from, even if you know it’s not good for you. With gorgeous visuals of the songstress amongst the mammoth boulders and gorgeous scenery of Joshua Tree National Park.

There’s more to come with Gavin Turek, as she also announced her full length album ‘Madame Gold’, out July 23 via her own label, Madame Gold Records. Having been produced and co-written by Childish Gambino collaborator Chris Hartz, the album will feature her alter-ego and namesake of the record “Madame Gold” who serves as the venue to allow Gavin Turek to carry on during periods of self-doubt and other crises, acting as a sort of superhero in a way.
