Alexander O’Neal Releases New Single “Think of Who Loves You”

Alexander O’Neal comes back on the groove with his latest single, “Think of Who Loves You”Available NOW on Amazon!

As one of the family members that comprised the Minneapolis Sound throughout the eighties and nineties, Alexander O’Neal possessed a distinct voice, generating a soulful joy to the dance floor and producing many top-fifty hits on the Billboard R&B charts for Tabu Records. Though his studio time has lessened a bit in the past decade, this Mississippi born vocalist still keeps his fans satisfied, including the 20-year re-visitation of his 1987 Hearsay album backed by the Manchester, England funk band, Mamma Freedom, and a recently self-released CD, Live at the Palladium. Now O’Neal is recording fresh yet old-school sounds, such as his latest track, “Think of Who Loves You,” featuring smooth jazz artist Maestro P. Though it’s not Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in the production chair from his hit-making season, this UAM Entertainment release delivers his O’Neal’s thick rich tenor with steady smooth grooves that beckon his R&B dance days with “Saturday Love” (w/Cherelle), “Fake” and others.
