A series of lustrous chamber jazz compositions drawing inspiration from letters written by his paternal grandparents, who fled the Armenian genocide during World War I, and his father’s historical fiction inspired by the family’s experience settling near Boston
 
Raffi Garabedian has release the first single, “A Mother’s Letter,” from his forthcoming album The Crazy Dog. Raffi says: “A Mother’s Letter” was the first song I composed for this project.
