R&B/Soul Singer Ty Causey to Release New Single “Stone Cold Magic”

Ty Causey, better known to many as “Mr. Consistent” in the music business for his prolific, unique, soulful song writing skills and silky vocals has done it again with his new single “Stone Cold Magic”. Causey is a former featured vocalist and co-writer for Jazz Saxophonist/Flutist Najee back in the late 1990’s. “Stone Cold Magic” is a single from his upcoming album called U-Turn. which will be released on his own independent record label Tyvonn Records. “Stone Cold Magic” is a funky mid-tempo groove with the perfect blend of Smooth R&B Soul and Smooth Jazz.

About Ty Causey
Indiana producer, Singer/Songwriter and performer, Ty Causey appeared on the music scene in the late 90’s as a vocalist for smooth jazz saxophanist Najee. Causey co-wrote/ performed on Najee’s 1998 Morning Tenderness Cd; which landed him the opportunity as the featured performer on Najee’s World- Wide tour.

Ty has shared the stage with many notable artists such as: Joe Sample, Norman Brown, Jonathan Butler, Pieces Of a Dream, and many more. Ty released his debut “N-Tysing” Cd in 2004. The project featured Najee and bassist Nelson Braxton of the jazz duo The Braxton Brothers. The Cd was released under Ty’s own independent record label “Tyvonn Records”.The project drew enthusiastic reviews and found it’s way to radio playlists in both the US and abroad including the UK, Japan and Germany. Since that time Causey has released eighteen acclaimed follow-up Cd’s.

Ty’s music style is a combination of Smooth Jazz, Sensual Classic Soul and R&B. Causey’s smooth vocal and deep lyrics compliment the soulful melodic production of his music. Ty continues to record and release new music and performs solo and with his full band opening up for jazz and R&B artists such as Boney James, Babyface, Peter White and other artists like himself.

Causey has been described as one of the finest vocalists on the Soul and Smooth Jazz scene and a talent still very much on the rise.
