Hungarian Saxophonist Attila Závodi Releases New Single “River Waves”

Publisher’s Note: Here’s an extraordinary sax artist who should have been given recognition the moment he dropped it – “River Waves” – It streams consistently on smooth and contemporary jazz platforms all over. He is now being featured on T.U.M.S., righteously.

One of the finest saxophone players in his native land of Hungary, Attila Závodi is best known as a member of the pop-funk-jazz group the Peet Project. His songwriting skills are demonstrated on some of the band’s hits, e.g. Galaxies, River Cruise and Drive Time. He is also an in-demand session player, lending his talent to local pop groups that fill arenas and jazz acts that feature names like Sting’s former vocalist partner, Vinx.

Attila’s first solo single, Beetle by the Road was released in 2019 and is now followed by River Waves, a relaxing smooth jazz song that revives the classic stylistic features of the genre.

Attila is a proud endorser of the legendary Theo Wanne Saxophone Mouthpieces and Antigua saxophones.
