Meet Winston Vicks born Terence M Boyd grew up 40 miles south of New Orleans, La
His Grandfather Freddie Vick Sr. Was a musician who had traveled the world with several blues and jazz greats, and several of his children started their own unique music journeys. Born into a family of musicians, artist and carpenters it was only natural he would have some talent in the arts. And he has talent in all departments, he started singing at the age of 5. And had his first small role in a movie at the age of 10. The name Winston Vicks is used to affectionately honor the legacy of his grand parents Mildred Winston (Vicks) and Freddie Vicks Sr.
Winston Vicks has traveled the world singing n several choirs, groups and assembles, contributing lead and background vocals for R&B and gospel acts and has also traveled as a frontline singer with a variety of bands, soul, corporate and weddings! In this chapter of his career, he has stepped out on his own with a feel good, Afro beat vibe single “All My Lovin,” the urban vibed “Baecation,” and a feel good, love inspired, Acoustic EP “Acoustic Cover Sessions.” His upcoming LP “If My Heart Could Talk” is a mix of r&b, hip hop, bounce with some Afro vibes, with a nod to classic r&b. 2025 is going to an amazing year… it’s time to bring feel good R&B back to the forefront.
