Khemistry Celebrates Two Years with Hot New Summer Single “Fall Back”
Clarksville, TN (July 5, 2024) – After a successful year of touring, R&B supergroup Khemistry is back with their new single “FALL BACK,” a fresh, uptempo track with old school vibes–just in time for summer! This new release showcases Khemistry’s signature blend of smooth, soulful vocals and extends their track record for creating infectious, feel-good music that resonates with R&B fans old and new.
The release of “Fall Back” follows the success of the group’s debut album, Khemistry Klass and comes ahead of its two year anniversary this August. The song tells the story of couples that always find their way back into each other’s arms, even if it can be a challenge to keep the relationship on track. It was written by Brian Lewis and produced by Baise Thomas.
The accompanying video captures the group playfully pursuing their respective love interests in the park.
“We wanted to create something that reminds people of the joy and fun that music and videos brought in the past,” says Mike Rich of Khemistry. “FALL BACK” is all about turning back the hands of time and finding the fun in music again.”
The group, which formed in 2022, consists of solo acts “Sangin Boy,” Jay Simmz, Terrell O’Neal, and Mike Rich, who came together to pay homage to legendary R&B groups like Boyz II Men, Dru Hill, Jagged Edge, Jodeci, and New Edition. Over the past year, Khemistry has been on the road performing all over the country, continuing to grow its fanbase and driving millions of streams across social platforms.
2024 saw Khemistry make its cinematic debut, playing themselves in The Creep with several songs from Khemistry Klass and a new original, “FINALLY” appearing in the film. The group’s debut smash single, “DON’T STAY MAD” was featured in the movie Promiscuously Toxic.
Industry heavyweights have been taking note, with major R&B artists and producers resharing the group’s originals and 90s R&B covers.
