Flautist-Singer Monet Releases New Single “Spirit 2024”

On Friday, March 8th: Singer/Songwriter/Flautist/Actor/Author and Film Director Monet will be releasing the instrumental ‘Spirit 2024′ through the Purpose Music Group/Nia Distribution in association with the MNRK Music Group.

‘Spirit 2024’ which features Monet on flute, the late and great Gil Smalls on all other instruments and Robin Smalls and Monet on harmony backing vocals. Spirit which is composed by Monet and GIL was actually featured on ‘essence’ Monet’s debut album in 2003. Musicologist/Producer/Editor Donald Cleveland aka Brooklyn Audio produced the edit/remix and was partially encouraged by the excitement and added awareness that André 3000 brought to the flute, that an updated version would be right on time.
