Songstress Sherree Patrice Releases New Single “Tell Me Sumth’N”
BIO: To say that Sherree’s sound is distinctive is an understatement. The Dove Award recipient is a vocal chameleon in whose satin like delivery can be heard through multiple genres, including R&B, rock, jazz, country, and gospel. Sherree Patrice has earned 44 x RIAA Certified Platinum records and 11 Gold records as supporting vocalist on the albums of music industry Legends and Icons. Her versatility comes from working closely with Grammy Award winning artists, producers, and songwriters such as, Celine Dion, Carlos Santana, Faith Hill, CeCe Winans and Michael W. Smith, just to name a few.
From the very beginning, Sherree grasped the industry with both hands, writing songs for Nancy Wilson, recording demos for top producers and songwriters such as Dianne Warren, David Foster, Carole Bayer-Sager and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and touring with Chaka Khan, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey. She also sang background vocals for Whitney Houston, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Usher, Boyz II Men and even landed a duet on Michael Buble’’s debut self-titled platinum selling album, with “You’ll Never Find.”
Sherree segued into the Adult Contemporary Jazz and the Gospel industry as a singer and songwriter. Her vocal presence and songwriting has graced the albums of major recording artist such as Four Play, Brian Culbertson, Maysa Leaks, Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown and Al Jarreau. She is also known for her work on the albums of gospel music’s stellar artists and their producers, namely, Winans, CeCe Winans, Michael W. Smith, Kirk Franklin, Aaron Lindsey, and Israel Houghton.
Today is a new day for Sherree Patrice. She has reignited her passion for music, with new projects that will showcase her many years of experience in the industry by fusing sounds and inspirations from all genres of music. It is with this same passion that Sherree has established the Brown Butterfly Entertainment Group LLC and founded The BBE Creative Arts Foundation (BBECAF).
