Rachel Eckroth Releases New Single “Perfect Love” ft. Sy Smith

LISTEN to the soothing new collaboration, “PERFECT LOVE” from singer-musician, RACHEL ECKROTH and the Queen of Underground Soul, Emmy-nominated recording artist, SY SMITH

The beautiful and soulful “PERFECT LOVE”, is available on all streaming and download platforms now. This songwriting collaboration stemmed from a world tour with Jazz trumpeter, Chris Botti. Smith and Eckroth have been guests on each other’s live shows and/or solo albums, but this is their first single release as a duo of sorts.

“Rachel had planted the seeds for this song for a while ago. But the shelter-in-place order gave us both the opportunity to really sit with it, tend to it, and watch it fully grow into something we think is kinda stunning. It’s like a lush garden full of color and sounds, and I love it,” mentions Sy. “Perfect Love, started as a simple song and became a beautiful collaboration with musicians I highly admire. As producer, I wanted to present something with colorful sonic ideas and groove textures. These guys helped make my ideas a reality,” adds Rachel.

PERFECTLOVE
The single also features special guests keyboardist Nick Semrad (Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles), and Pittsburgh keyboardist/producer Orlando ‘Buscrates’ Marshall.
